My husband and I stayed here for a week in one of the chalets. It was our third time at Petra Olive Farm and it was amazing. It is dog friendly so it was lovely that our dogs are able to holiday with us. They absolutely love the spacious farm and have become great friends with the resident pooch, Tychi. The accommodation is simply stunning. The beautiful views of the dams and trees on the property from our chalet was a delight to wake up to every morning! The chalet had a modern kitchen and furniture and it all made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We will definitely be back and would definitely recommend Petra Olive Farm to anyone who loves a tranquil location that is still very close to amenities, wineries, shops and beaches.

7 minutes drive to Yallingup Beach and Dunsborough, and a short drive to the galleries, wineries and restaurants that make the Margaret River region famous.

Petra Estate is one of the best dog friendly accommodation options in the Margaret River Region. Cheaper than a dog shelter and you can enjoy your holiday with your beloved furry friend!
With 30 acres on the estate, you can walk your dog through a picturesque environment; around the dams and through the olive groves, as well as enjoying a visit to Petra SHED DOOR Tasting Room & Farm Shop.
Petra's Dog Friendly accommodation is potentially suitable for
- calm, well trained/socialised dogs: 1yo+, sterilised/desexed, well socialised/behaved, fully vaccinated, house trained, good recall (if off-leash), able to manage other dogs on/off leash
- experienced, calm, responsible dog owners
Cost is $25 per dog per night. All dogs require prior approval / adherence to Dog Policy. Maximum of one dog per chalet (normally).
