I had the recent pleasure of staying at Petra Olive Oil Estate for 2 nights (shoulda stayed for longer!!) What an outstandingly magnificent place for a getaway! The self contained units are simply gorgeous with everything you need and with views as far as the eye can see ~ the grounds are immaculate 🙂 The resident ducks with their Spring babies and chilled out roos made for a beautiful reconnection with the nature of our South West ! It’s also super close to glorious beaches and Cape Naturaliste for relaxing walks! Thank you Petra Olive Oil Estate ~ I will definitely be back and highly recommend that others do yourselves a favour and treat yourself to not only a stay here but also to their beautiful olive oil products in the ‘Shed Door’ shop 🙂 Thanks Melina and Co x Claire 🙂

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in one of the Queen Suites and it was amazing. First of all it is dog friendly so it was lovely that our dog was allowed to come down for the trip! Secondly the accommodation is stunning. We had beautiful views of the dams and trees on the property from our suite and it was very nice to be able to walk around on their 30 acres freely with our dog. The suites had a modern kitchen and furniture and it all made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We will definitely be back and would recommend for anyone!

Dog Friendly Accommodation
Petra Estate is one of the best dog friendly accommodation options in the Margaret River Region. Cheaper than a dog shelter and you can enjoy your holiday with your beloved furry friend!
You can walk your dog through a picturesque environment including landscaped property and dams.
Note: Petra is completely unfenced, so Petra's Dog Friendly Accommodation is only suitable for
- calm, well trained/socialised dogs: must be 1yo+, sterilised/desexed; well trained (good recall), well socialised/behaved, fully vaccinated, house trained, good recall (if off-leash, able to manage other dogs on/off leash)
- experienced, calm, responsible dog owners who will highly supervise their dogs
Wild kangaroos and ducks roam freely at Petra, so please keep your dog leashed unless have 100% recall.
Conditions apply, including extra cost.
All dogs require prior approval / adherence to Dog Policy. Maximum of one dog per chalet (normally).
